The golf courses on Gower are renowned as some of the most stunning in Wales with Langland Bay Golf Course recently winning the prestigious 'Welsh golf club of the year award'. The Swansea Bay region is located less than a 1 hour drive from The Celtic Manor Resort which was of course the venue of the 2010 Ryder Cup.


Swansea Bay Golf ClubThe Gower Golf Club: Well placed at the heart of Gower, close to Gowerton with good access to the M4, Swansea and the rest of Gower. It is a beautiful, challenging course set within countryside surroundings. The course can be stamina testing due to its hilly nature, but it’s well worth the effort. The warm welcome at the modern clubhouse makes the club particularly popular for visitors and golfers of all ability.
Swansea Bay Golf ClubSwansea Bay Golf Club: is located at Jersey Marine and is the first golf course that you see as you exit Junction 42 of the M4. The club is steeped in history having been founded in 1892 by the Earl of Jersey and the beautiful clubhouse is well over 100 years old.  This links course is a par 72 with very good greens throughout the year. Earlswood Golf ClubEarlswood Golf Club: is a municipal course which sits above Swansea Bay Golf Club offering a more relaxed atmosphere in which to play with many newcomers mixing with the more experienced golfers taking to the fairways. Clyne Golf ClubClyne Golf Club: is a moorland course close to Mumbles which has been around since the 1920's. Clyne Golf Course offers a warm welcome to all visitors with its' large clubhouse, restaurant and bar. The course itself has excellent drainage with panoramic views across Swansea Bay and towards Mumbles Pier. Langland Golf ClubLangland Golf Club: Holder of the current 'Welsh Golf Club of the Year Award'. This course offers a clubhouse and course with panoramic sea views from the clifftop over both Langland Bay, Caswell Bay and towards the north Devon coastline. 15 of the 18 holes offer sea views with the welcoming clubhouse and refreshments always a short stroll away. Pennard Golf ClubPennard Golf Club: really is one of the most picturesque golf courses in Wales with absolutely amazing views over Three Cliffs Bay (as featured on Britain's Best View on ITV). This links course offers undulating fairways and deep rough if you leave the course but the challenge is worth taking on. The modern clubhouse make the refreshments all the more satisfying. Fairwood Park Golf ClubFairwood Park Golf Club: is a parkland course right at the heart of the Gower Peninsular, covering 150 acres with over 15000 trees lining the fairways and water traps also dotted around. The flattest of all the Gower golf courses this course appeals to all golfers of all mobility and endurance.
Machynys Golf ClubMachynys Golf Club: this Nicklaus designed course near Llanelli surrounds the beautiful clubhouse, which houses the 90 seat Machynys Brasserie and Monks Spa.
