Walking on Beach

The Gower Walking Festival features 72 activities from walks and talks to canal and kayak rides. It’s a healthy, friendly and fun way to enjoy Gower and all that this stunning area has to offer.

Whatever your passion, beaches and castles, smugglers and mining, welsh literature, culture and history, the walks and activities on offer cover it all and many take in beautiful stretches of the Wales Coastal Path.

From Pennle’r Castell in the north to Worm’s Head in the west, and from Copperopolis to Dylan Thomas’ birthplace, there are moonlight cliff walks, reptile rambles and even an evening photography walk that concludes at Worm’s Head Hotel at Rhossili.

Well organised and open to children and adults of all ages and walking abilities, all the walks are circular in that you finish where you started, and graded based on degree of difficulty. Some even welcome dogs if on short leads.
