This 19th century former watermill really is an outstanding holiday home and set in an equally magical location of Parkmill. Few places on the Gower can boast such a variety of visitor attractions and natural highlights as this delightful hamlet just 8 miles west of Swansea.

Lying midway between the villages of Penmaen and Ilston, it's a short but lovely walk to Three Cliffs Bay and just 10 minutes' drive to Mumbles. Pennard Castle, the Gower Heritage Centre, the medieval deer park and Parc le Breos are also conveniently placed on the doorstep.

Stonemill's luxurious three bedroom accommodation is pet friendly, sleeps 6, boasts parking for 2 to 3 cars, 3 contemporary bathrooms then there's the added wow factor of an outdoor hot tub, sauna and shower.

Renovation of this 150 year-old property has been both sympathetic and creative; retaining original features including vaulted ceilings and oak beams and adding high quality fixtures and fittings and quirky design details. The landscaping in the back garden is delightful and another key feature is that built over three floors, a stone spiral staircase rises up through the centre connecting the floors.

Accommodation

Ground Floor: Entrance through wooden gate and small terraced garden into the hallway, with under floor heating throughout.

Bedroom 2: Double bed with contemporary wet room style en-suite.

Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds.

Family Shower Room: Fully tiled and with walk-in shower.

First Floor: Stone spiral staircase leads to the first floor living accommodation.

Kitchen: Retro style fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, double oven, microwave, extractor hood, 4-ring induction hob, under counter lighting, a table and chairs for 8. Please note: There is also a 2-ring gas hob which is not for visitor use.

Garden Lounge: Steps down to this area with armchair and leather sofa, bookcase and TV with separate Sky box, showing both family and sports package and bi-folding doors onto the garden.

Reception: Log burning fire with log storage underneath, a wall mounted television with Sky package, surround sound and L-shaped leather sofa. French doors lead onto a decked terrace with steps down to the garden.

Second Floor

Master Bedroom Suite: Steps up to dressing area and door to en-suite bathroom, with low beamed ceiling.

External: A sunken hot tub, cedar barrel sauna and outside shower, handy for when returning from the beach. There is an enclosed, private rear garden with a range of terraces and some areas laid to artificial lawn and backing onto beautiful woodland. The garden is gated and benefits from plenty of storage to house bikes, surfboards and general holiday items.
