Water Sports activities in the Gower peninsula

It should be no surprise to find such an abundance of water sports available to the Gower visitor. For the novice the shallow water in Swansea Bay is ideal to practise kayaking, swimming, paddle-boarding and wind surfing. Popular surfing bays are Langland and Caswell while Llangennith with its west facing beach receives the best quality surf.

Knab rock by Verdis promenade cafe in Mumbles is the nub of local sailing activity and the place to either dive in the sea (at high tide!) or book yourself and family onto a boat cruise around the coast to spot dolphin, seals or any of the proliferation of seabirds never far from the waters edge.
